Raspberry Rose Sparkler

Raspberry puree and lemon bring lively tart fruit notes, while white grape juice adds sweetness and sparkling water supplies fizz. A tiny optional measure of culinary rosewater lends a delicate floral aroma. Three raspberries on a pick make a simple berry finish.

Made with Apple Pomegranate E+

8 min · One 8 fl oz drink · 10 fl oz stemmed goblet

Original recipe by Capt. Solomon D. Crowe

One 2 fl oz E+ bottle + 6 fl oz mixers = one 8 fl oz drink.

The finished drink contains the bottle’s caffeine: 85 mg according to the US product sheet. Dilution changes the concentration, while the total caffeine stays the same. Check your bottle’s current label.

The flavor balance

Raspberry and lemon contribute tart fruit notes, with white grape juice providing sweetness. A tiny measure of optional culinary rosewater adds a floral accent without overwhelming the berry ingredients.

Ingredients

Makes 8 US fl oz · About 237 mL · No ice

  • 1 full 2 fl oz bottle Isagenix E+ Apple Pomegranate, chilled
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries, to prepare 1 fl oz (2 tbsp) strained raspberry puree; use only the measured puree
  • 1.5 fl oz (3 tbsp) white grape juice, chilled
  • 0.5 fl oz (1 tbsp) lemon juice, chilled
  • About 3 fl oz (6 tbsp) plain sparkling water, chilled; use only enough to bring the finished drink to 8 fl oz
  • 1/8 tsp food-grade culinary rosewater (optional; not essential oil)
  • 3 raspberries on a short food-safe pick, for garnish

Optional variation — choose before mixing

For less sweetness, replace 1 tbsp white grape juice with 1 tbsp sparkling water. Keep the full 2 fl oz E+ bottle unchanged and the finished liquid at exactly 8 fl oz; make the swap before mixing.

How to make it

  1. 1

Mash the 1/2 cup fresh raspberries and press through a fine sieve. Measure 1 fl oz (2 tbsp) strained puree for the drink and reserve any excess separately. Do this before adding E+.

  2. 2

In an open measuring jug, stir the measured raspberry puree, white grape juice and lemon juice together. If using it, add exactly 1/8 tsp food-grade culinary rosewater.

  3. 3

Pour in the entire 2 fl oz bottle of E+ and stir gently to combine. Do not strain or discard any of the mixture after this step.

  4. 4

Add chilled plain sparkling water last, pouring slowly down the side of the open jug. Use about 3 fl oz (6 tbsp), pausing for foam to settle and stopping when the liquid reaches exactly 8 fl oz; never shake or blend the carbonated mixture. The optional rosewater replaces a little sparkling water within this final volume.

  5. 5

Pour the full 8 fl oz serving into the chilled 10 fl oz stemmed goblet, without ice. Garnish with 3 raspberries on a short food-safe pick. Serve promptly.

Mixologist’s tip: Use food-grade culinary rosewater, never rose essential oil; you can omit it without replacing it with another flavoring.

Serve alongside: A plain almond shortbread biscuit.
