Coconut Citrus Drift
Plain coconut water gives apple and pomegranate a gentle tropical companion, while a little lime adds a bright citrus edge. This simple still drink keeps the focus on three ingredients. A twist of lime peel adds fragrance without the richness of coconut milk.
Made with Apple Pomegranate E+
5 min · One 8 fl oz drink · 10 fl oz slender footed glass
Original recipe by Capt. Solomon D. Crowe
One 2 fl oz E+ bottle + 6 fl oz mixers = one 8 fl oz drink.
The finished drink contains the bottle’s caffeine: 85 mg according to the US product sheet. Dilution changes the concentration, while the total caffeine stays the same. Check your bottle’s current label.

The flavor balance
Plain coconut water adds a gentle coconut note without the fat or texture of coconut milk. Lime supplies a tart citrus accent alongside the apple and pomegranate.
Ingredients
Makes 8 US fl oz · About 237 mL · No ice
- 1 full 2 fl oz bottle Isagenix E+ Apple Pomegranate, chilled
- About 5.5 fl oz (1/2 cup plus 3 tbsp) coconut water, chilled; use only enough to bring the finished drink to 8 fl oz
- 0.5 fl oz (1 tbsp) lime juice, chilled
- 1 lime-peel twist, about 2 inches long, for garnish
- 1 tbsp cold water, optional for the listed flavor adjustment
Optional variation — choose before mixing
For a softer coconut emphasis, replace 1 tbsp coconut water with 1 tbsp cold water. Keep the full 2 fl oz E+ bottle unchanged and the finished liquid at exactly 8 fl oz; make the swap before mixing.
How to make it
- 1
Pour the measured lime juice into an open measuring jug. Use thoroughly chilled liquids and a chilled glass; do not add ice.
- 2
Pour in the entire 2 fl oz bottle of E+ and stir gently to combine.
- 3
Add chilled plain coconut water gradually, using about 5.5 fl oz (1/2 cup plus 3 tbsp). Stir gently and stop when the finished liquid reaches the 8 fl oz mark.
- 4
Pour the full 8 fl oz serving into the chilled 10 fl oz slender footed glass, without ice. Garnish with 1 lime-peel twist, about 2 inches long. Serve promptly.
Mixologist’s tip: Use coconut water, not coconut milk or cream; the intended drink is translucent to lightly cloudy rather than white.
Serve alongside: Sea-salt rice crackers with avocado.
