Banana Almond Green Cream

Ripe banana, almond milk, and a small spoonful of almond butter create a gently nutty smoothie with a creamy finish. The ingredient list stays short so banana remains the central flavor. Greens lend a light olive color and an earthy note beneath the familiar breakfast pairing.

The flavor balance

Ripe banana offers sweetness and body that can soften a grassy finish. A teaspoon of almond butter adds a toasted, nutty direction, giving the earthy notes another flavor to sit alongside.

Ingredients

One glass · US measures

  • 1 serving Isagenix Greens, measured according to your current canister’s serving directions
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, chilled
  • 1/2 medium ripe banana, sliced and frozen
  • 1 teaspoon smooth almond butter
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes
  • 1 fresh banana wheel, for garnish
  • 1/4 teaspoon smooth almond butter, for garnish, optional
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped almonds, for garnish, optional

Measure the Greens according to your current canister’s serving directions. Use chilled liquids and wash fresh produce before preparing.

How to make it

  1. 1

Pour the almond milk into a blender and add the frozen banana and almond butter.

  2. 2

Add the Greens and blend for 30–45 seconds, until the banana is smooth and the almond butter is fully incorporated.

  3. 3

Add the ice and blend for another 10–15 seconds until creamy and pourable.

  4. 4

Pour into a 20 fl oz broad tumbler. Cut a small slit in the fresh banana wheel and set it on the rim. Add the optional small dab of almond butter and chopped almonds, then serve immediately.

Taste and adjust

For a more pronounced nutty finish, increase the almond butter from 1 teaspoon to 1 1/2 teaspoons.

Mixologist’s tip: Freeze banana slices in a single layer beforehand so they blend without leaving a solid frozen core.

Serve alongside: Whole-grain toast with sliced strawberries
