Pineapple Coconut Green Colada

Pineapple, a little banana, and a light carton coconut beverage make a creamy tropical smoothie with a gentle green finish. Frozen fruit provides most of the chill, so the texture stays pourable. A pineapple wedge and an unsqueezed lime wheel give the glass a relaxed vacation feel.

Serving suggestion: a creamy muted pastel-green pineapple-coconut smoothie in a curvy hurricane-style glass, with a pineapple wedge and lime wheel on a tropical terrace table.
Illustrative serving suggestion. The color varies with your Greens and fruit.

The flavor balance

Pineapple gives the green base a pronounced sweet-tart fruit flavor, while banana softens the texture and finish. The light coconut beverage contributes a familiar tropical aroma without the richness of canned coconut milk.

Ingredients

One glass · US measures

  • 1 serving Isagenix Greens, measured according to your current canister’s serving directions
  • 1 cup unsweetened carton coconut milk beverage, chilled
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 medium ripe banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes
  • 1 small pineapple wedge, for garnish
  • 1 thin lime wheel, for garnish only

Measure the Greens according to your current canister’s serving directions. Use chilled liquids and wash fresh produce before preparing.

How to make it

  1. 1

Pour the carton coconut milk beverage into a blender, then add the frozen pineapple and banana.

  2. 2

Add the Greens and blend for 30–45 seconds, until the fruit is smooth and the powder is dispersed.

  3. 3

Add the ice and blend for another 10–15 seconds until creamy and pourable.

  4. 4

Pour into a 24 fl oz hurricane-style glass. Garnish with the pineapple wedge and lime wheel, leaving the lime unsqueezed, and serve immediately.

Taste and adjust

For a slightly fuller texture, increase the banana from 1/4 to 1/3 of a medium banana.

Mixologist’s tip: Use the pourable carton beverage specified here; canned coconut milk would make a much richer and thicker drink.

Serve alongside: Toasted coconut granola
