Peach Thyme Glow

Lemon balances ripe peach sweetness, and thyme adds a delicate woody aroma to the citrus base. Freshly muddled peach gives the spritz a soft golden haze with small fruit pieces, while a short thyme sprig scents the rim.

Ingredients

One glass · US measures

  • 6 fl oz BEA Citrus Sunrise, well chilled (177 mL; ½ of a 12 fl oz can)
  • ¼ cup peeled, diced ripe peach
  • ½ fl oz fresh lemon juice (1 Tbsp)
  • 1 fresh thyme sprig, about 3 inches long
  • ¾ cup ice cubes

The 6 fl oz of BEA contributes approximately 63 mg caffeine. All other ingredients in this recipe are caffeine-free.

How to mix it

  1. 1

Add the peach and lemon juice to the glass and muddle until the fruit releases its juice.

  2. 2

Lightly rub the thyme sprig between your palms, then add it to the glass with the ice.

  3. 3

Pour in the chilled BEA Citrus Sunrise last and stir gently to combine.

  4. 4

Rest the top of the thyme sprig near the rim and serve immediately.

The finishing touch

A peach that yields slightly to gentle pressure is easier to muddle than a firm one.

Serve alongside: Burrata with ripe tomatoes
