Strawberry Lemon Veranda
Fresh lemon balances ripe strawberry sweetness against the bright citrus base. Muddled berries give this blush-colored spritz a little texture, while a strawberry garnish brings the fruit aroma forward with each sip beside the glass's lively bubbles.

One glass · US measures
- 6 fl oz BEA Citrus Sunrise, well chilled (177 mL; ½ of a 12 fl oz can)
- ¼ cup hulled, chopped strawberries
- ½ fl oz fresh lemon juice (1 Tbsp)
- 1 small strawberry, slit halfway up for garnish
- ¾ cup ice cubes
The 6 fl oz of BEA contributes approximately 63 mg caffeine. All other ingredients in this recipe are caffeine-free.
How to mix it
- 1
Put the chopped strawberries and lemon juice in the glass.
- 2
Mash with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon until juicy, leaving a few small pieces of fruit.
- 3
Add the ice, then pour in the chilled BEA Citrus Sunrise last and stir gently to lift the berry juice through the drink.
- 4
Set the small strawberry on the rim and serve immediately.
The finishing touch
Choose fragrant, fully red strawberries; firm, pale berries release less juice when muddled.
Serve alongside: Tomato and mozzarella crostini
