Pomegranate Orange Jewel
Pomegranate's tangy, faintly tannic character balances the citrus sweetness, with lime adding a sharper finish. A small orange peel expressed over this jewel-red spritz brings fragrant citrus oils to the surface without adding extra juice or fruit pulp.

One glass · US measures
- 6 fl oz BEA Citrus Sunrise, well chilled (177 mL; ½ of a 12 fl oz can)
- 1½ fl oz 100% pomegranate juice (3 Tbsp)
- ¼ fl oz fresh lime juice (1½ tsp)
- 1 strip orange peel, about 2 × 1 inches, with little white pith
- ¾ cup ice cubes
The 6 fl oz of BEA contributes approximately 63 mg caffeine. All other ingredients in this recipe are caffeine-free.
How to mix it
- 1
Pour the pomegranate juice and lime juice into the glass and stir together.
- 2
Add the ice, then pour in the chilled BEA Citrus Sunrise last.
- 3
Stir gently once or twice to combine the juices with the carbonated base.
- 4
Hold the orange peel colored-side down over the drink and gently bend it to release its oils. Drop it into the glass and serve immediately.
The finishing touch
Trim thick white pith from the orange peel so the garnish contributes aroma with less bitterness.
Serve alongside: Hummus and toasted pita
