Frozen Kiwi Lime Crush

Kiwi and frozen pineapple make an icy green crush with small seed flecks and a lively tropical finish. Water keeps the fruit blend light, while a modest squeeze of lime adds definition. The pineapple supplies the sweeter counterpoint, helping the grassy base sit within the fruit flavors.

The flavor balance

Pineapple adds sweetness that can round off the tart kiwi and earthy green flavor. Kiwi and a measured amount of lime provide a fresh citrus-fruit direction, keeping the frozen texture from tasting muted.

Ingredients

One glass · US measures

  • 1 serving Isagenix Greens, measured according to your current canister’s serving directions
  • 3/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 ripe kiwi, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes
  • 1 thin kiwi wheel, for garnish

Measure the Greens according to your current canister’s serving directions. Use chilled liquids and wash fresh produce before preparing.

How to make it

  1. 1

Pour the water and lime juice into a blender, then add the chopped kiwi and frozen pineapple.

  2. 2

Add the Greens and blend for 20–30 seconds, until the pineapple is finely blended and the powder is dispersed.

  3. 3

Add the ice and pulse briefly until finely crushed and pourable; leave the small kiwi seeds visible.

  4. 4

Pour into a 24 fl oz tumbler, garnish with the kiwi wheel, and serve immediately before the ice softens.

Taste and adjust

For a softer lime edge, use 2 teaspoons lime juice and 1 additional teaspoon of the listed water.

Mixologist’s tip: Stop blending once the ice is finely crushed; extended blending melts the icy texture.

Serve alongside: Grilled fish tacos with cabbage
